Özet: With the World becoming a global village, tourism in Turkey has emerged as a rapidly developing and increasing sector of importance. Given the income generated by developing countries from this market in recent years, it undoubtedly brings new investments and benefits to regional development. In addition to the development of the tourism sector in Turkey especially in coastal areas, tourism activities due to the seasonal nature of tourism can’t spread to the year. At this point, the tourism potential of Turkey and the diversity of tourist products are important. Thermal tourism is one of the most important alternative tourism types considering our country. In this study, Erzurum province was evaluated in terms of thermal tourism and evaluations were made for the spread of tourism activities to 12 months. The study was applied to 410 people who visited Aziziye, Pasinler and Deliçermik Thermal springs located within the borders of Erzurum Province. In the study data were obtained through a quastionnaire an five-point Likert type scale was used. Chi-Square Test, Anova and Independence T- Test were obtained on data. Accordingly, it was concluded that Erzurum is not well-known destination in Turkey in terms of thermal tourism. Based on the results, proposals were presented to identify Erzurum's thermal tourism potential.
