Özet: Abstract General understandings and habits of programs or students’ evaluation often directs assessors to quantitative processes. However this situation causes elimination of the context and prevents obtaining the real causes and information about the process. Evaluation of curriculum process can be considered as not only what students are taught but also what students are learned from educational process. In this case, evaluation of curriculum means that observation of school and classroom’s internal processes and evaluation of the curriculum with all the people affected by it and then revealing the results. Such an evaluation approach has been made systematically by Eisner. The aim of this study is to put forward what the program evaluation is and to present “Eisner’s Critical Model” which is one the evaluation process having emphasis on quality more than quantity.
