Özet: Abstract The aim of this study is to reveal the metaphoric perceptions of academicians and graduate students about curriculum, curriculum evaluation, curriculum evaluator and curriculum evaluation standards. The data were gathered through the participants’ answers for the sentence “I think the curriculum (etc.) is like …; because…”. According to the results, there are five different categories for curriculum which are “consisting of consecutive processes, guiding, having harmonious components, being functional, being indispensable”; three different categories for curriculum evaluation which are “supervision and control, elimination, correction”; four different categories for the curriculum evaluator which are “selective, supervisor, brave, corrective”; and four different categories for the curriculum evaluation standards which are “rules, guiding, criteria for comparison, being indispensable”.
