Özet: Although the studies evaluating the effects of dark leadership perception at the employee level and throughout the organisation have shown an increasing trend in recent years in our country, it is possible to say that it is not at the desired level than other organisational issues. In particular, defining the dark leadership behaviours employees are exposed to and revealing how such behaviours affect the employees' feelings about their job will significantly contribute to the literature and shed light on organisations. This study was conducted to evaluate the effect of dark leadership perception on the job satisfaction of employees. The research data has been obtained with the participation of people who have worked in the public or private sector in Istanbul for at least five years and are affiliated with a manager. In this context, a total of 240 valid questionnaires were collected. Dark Leadership Perception Scale and the Minnesota Job Satisfaction Scale were used to collect data. According to the correlation analysis, when the research data are analysed, there was a negative statistically significant and weak relationship between wearisome behaviours, insincere behaviours, and tyrannical behaviours, which are sub-dimensions of dark leadership perception job satisfaction. According to the multiple regression results, it was found that tyrannical and wearisome behaviours significantly and negatively affected job satisfaction, while insincere behaviours did not significantly affect job satisfaction.
