Özet: This research was done to examine nurses working in health companies and nurses’ aspects for management and administration terms and practices. Research sample consists of 410 nurses and midwives respondents working for public and private health institution units chosen randomly in İstanbul and Kocaeli. Questionnaire was used to collect research data examined socio-demographic characteristics prepared by researchers and consists management organization inventory. Data were evaluated by number and percentage method. Research is a descriptive study. Personal and organizational level inadequacies emerged on management and administration term aspects and practices of nurses and midwives working for health companies. Nurses and midwives working forhealth institutions should approach management and organization terms and practices systematically in discipline.
