Özet: Universities are one of the most important factors affecting the development of the country and region. Increased globalization as well as with coming to fore of regional values, interaction between university and the city where it is located and form of perceiving of the city has came into prominence. A university is an important fund for thecity and it is a majör contributor. While assessing the University's contribution to thecity, must be determine the problems and priorities of  which taking into account the needs of  the city.  At thispoint, identifying of universities collaborating institutions and areas in which cooperation can be done and mutualuse of the information on joint work and university in the city of their perceived levels are important. In this study, the evaluation the perception levels of the participants about the universty. In order to determine whether there are differences in the perception levels of the participants about the universty, t-test and one-way analysis of variance have been done. In general, it has been seent hat the statement about the university have been evaluated positively by the participants. In addition, it has been determined that there are differences in the perception of the statement about the university depending on gender, marital statuas, age, education and income.
