Özet: This study aims to reveal the tourism potential of Develi district as an emerging tourism destination. Develi is a destination with a lot of tourism potentials, natural and cultural. The advantages, weaknesses, opportunities and threats of the destination have been evaluated with prestige. Within this scope, a SWOT matrix for the destination has been created, and the advantages and opportunities that Develi possesses have been revealed together with the weaknesses and threats they face at the same time. The findings have pointed out that Develi's tourism potential is being used effectively and that as a result the attractiveness and sustainability of its superiority are ensured. Various suggestions have been developed, including the promotion of tourism potential that Develi has in the light of the bulgum and the development of alternative tourism types based on this, and the promotion of tourism infrastructure investments.
