Özet: Organizational commitment is a behavior that is desired to be exhibited by theemployees, so its relationship with many variables has been examined in recent academic studies. However, in the literature, it is seen that there are very few studies dealing with the relationship between organizational commitment and innovative work behavior. As it is known, allorganizations want to work with employees with high organizational commitment. Innovative business behavior is seen as the key for organizations to gain competitive advantage in today's business world. The subject of this study is to investigate whether perceptions of employees' organizational commitment have an effect on the irinnovative work behaviors. The study was administered to white collar employees working in various departments of automotive companies manufacturing in Turkey. 406 survey forms suitable for analysis were obtained as a result of the study. SPSS and Amos statistical programs were used to analyze the data. At the end of the study, organizational commitment was found to be an important variable affecting innovative work behavior.
