Özet: This study aims to explore the relationship between presenteeism and organizational commitment of General Directorate of Sports Headquarter employees. In line with this purpose, the question as to whether gender, age, education level and title variables have a significant effect on presenteeism and organizational commitment levels. The study group of the research consists of 402 employees that work in the General Directorate of Sports Headquarter. The data in the research have been collected by “Stanford Presenteeism Scale” and “Organizational Commitment Scale”. In the analysis process of the data, correlation analysis, Mann-Whitney U and Kruskall-Wallis H Tests were used. As a result of the analyses, it is observed that there is a significant positive relationship between presenteeism and organizational commitment levels. In addition, it is concluded in the research that there is a significant difference between age, education level and title variables of employees and their presenteeism levels, and that there are no significant differences between their gender and presenteeism levels. Significant differences between the subdimensions of gender, age, education, and title variables and organizational commitment are other results of the study. It is suggested that the research also be conducted in the rural institutions of Sports Headquarters.
