Özet: This article focuses on the Marxian category of use-value in relation to nature from the thought of the Ecuadorian Mexican philosopher Bolívar Echeverría, having as its main objective to analyze his concept of “transnaturalization” in the interaction between human beings and nature during the processes of production and reproduction of human material life. Therefore, the methodology used focuses on a critical and exegetical stance of Marx's texts from the perspective of the Ecuadorian Mexican thinker, where Echeverría's perspective on the value that is valued is explored, as well as the role of nature, which ends up being itself an exploitable commodity in the dynamics of the capitalist mode of production, becoming a fundamental aspect in the constant creation of social identity.
