Özet: This research work raises the benefits that musical practice generates to a group of students from the Faculty of Medicine of the Autonomous University of Nuevo León in Mexico. For this qualitative research study, the exploratory phenomenological methodology was used. In-depth interviews were conducted with the collaboration of eight students who belong to the chamber ensemble of the Faculty of Medicine. This research aims to analyze the impact that music education has had on the personal and school life of medical students. The results showed that the artistic practice originated a feeling of satisfaction, creating an atmosphere of well-being that achieves the release of stress and a special attachment to the instruments with which they began their musical study from an early age. Finally, we can observe that musical practice favors collaborative work, strengthening the integral and intercultural development of students.
