Özet: The armed conflicts in the Andean region have been prolonged and complex and have developed under a cloak of kidnappings and rapes executed mostly by groups such as guerrillas, paramilitaries and other rebels supported mostly by the drug trade. In South America, the phenomenon was consolidated in the areas occupied by the insurgents, which allowed its proliferation and brought with it the spread of sexual violence as a practice used by armed deserters to sow terror in the occupied spaces and consolidate their power. Some of the insurgent groups justify their uprisings with a discourse that is protected by the political status quo in the countries where they were developed to promote a fictitious social justice. The research analyzes the wave of violence against women that this panorama has generated, addresses its development, and the way in which the legal apparatus has not yet managed to diminish this scourge. The hermeneutic approach, critical thinking, and documentary analysis of official reports, journal articles, and other documents are the guide for the development of the discourse. A reflection is presented with the objective of avoiding that the body of the woman who lives in the borders of the Andean community will be a territory where failed political discourses are produced.
