Özet: This article makes a first comparative approach to the Marxism of José María Aricó and Álvaro García Linera. The editorial work of both intellectuals can be understood as translation efforts, in Gramsci’s sense, of Marxism in Latin America. The point of contact that I am interested in investigating here refers to the work of exhumation and interpretation of unpublished writings of Marx that both undertake to subject to criticism canonized Marxism as a philosophy of history. In the context of the crisis of Marxism, this will allow them to delineate a Marx suited to Latin American reality.
