Özet: This article proposes to bring into discussion the public use of the religion from the conceptions of Jürgen Habermas, who defends the recognition and admission of religion as an actor in the public sphere and its manifestations without having been translated. Before the fragmentation of society, proposes the urgent need for learning processes complementary between religious doctrines and the images of the world, between the religious and secular citizens. The German philosopher aims at the understanding of a post-secular society which involves a tension between “secular State” and “post-secular society”. Place into question or review the theory of secularization, religion privatist associated modernization with the individualization and that to the extent that societies are modernized predicted the progressive disappearance of the religions in the public sphere.
