Özet: In the present article I attempt to offer a deeper understanding of the continuity of tutelage processes with respect to indigenous populations that are (re)produced in the interrelations between development--State--native peoples in the Ecuadorian Buen Vivir and the Bolivian Vivir Bien. By way of a methodology of discourse analysis, I have tried to shed light on the representations and spaces that this tutelage articulates and which makes problematic the real autonomy of the communities so as to achieve a development-consumerist model, which, far from presenting an alternative paradigm, seems to sustain the patters of tutelage and displacement begun with colonization.
