Özet: In the 1970s a philosophical renewal movement took place in our America - the Latin American Liberation Philosophy. In this framework occurred a number of intense debates about the critical function of philosophy, the revision of our own thinking tradition in dialogue with the universal philosophical production, the way of accessing the historical reality in order to understand the complexity of the domination relations fabric and to produce the necessary knowledge for its transformation. The participants of those debates held heterogeneous positions. We address the works of Enrique Dussel, Arturo Roig, and Horacio Cerutti Guldberg in order to find the answers to some questions: What leads to the necessity of a theoretical-methodological renewal of the Latin American philosophical praxis? Which are the epistemological bets and the methodological renewal proposals emerging thereof?
