Özet: The aim of this work is to reconstruct the Marxist contribution to the Latin American critical thinking framework, based on the theoretical-political relevance of the Bolivian thinkers René Zavaleta Mercado and Álvaro García Linera. We start from the assumption that both authors rewrite a type of Marxist reading in Latin American key, influenced by the Gramscian perspective in their understanding of the State and the conformation of civil society. To this end, we realize how the autonomy of the political and the discussion of statehood form the fundamental threads of the crack that connects our authors, while at the same time giving actuality to a typically Latin American Marxism -which it becomes necessary to unthink-.
