Özet: Tourism destinations are at the center of national and international tourism. Usually the goal is to visit a single destination for a period of time. Each point has attractive effects with its unique values and forms a whole with its close surroundings. Advances in today's information and communication technologies have made the masses use the internet and technologies. People who realize their vital needs and planning over the internet make their first contact with the tourism market this way, and have an idea about the landscapes they are familiar with or have seen for the first time. In this context, in this study; It is aimed to analyze the visuals that are part of the tourism promotion strategies which are of great importance in terms of the national economy and natural/cultural values, and to reveal the effective features with a scientific approach. Using the visual contents under the destination and popular destination titles in the Ministry of Tourism/Goturkey Travel Guide, the images were analyzed in terms of perceptual landscape. Perceptual and Spatial Landscape Efficiency Analysis was applied to 31 destination images selected as material, the images were evaluated in terms of a total of 14 landscape parameters and perceptual elements (cultural landscape, historical texture, land form, geological/ geographical formation, vegetation, water presence, animal presence, human existence. etc). In addition, 46 popular destination images were evaluated in terms of 17 active elements (cultural landscape, historical texture, land form, geological/ geographical formation, vegetation, animal existence, water presence, human presence, coastline, water-based activity, rarity, ground level vista reality etc.) It has been determined that the selected images have a successful diversification, the efficiency of perceptual and spatial elements consisting of rarity, dominant color, cultural landscape, land form, ground level vista reality and historical texture stand out.
