Özet: Among the purposes of the Public Relations and Publicity discipline; forming public opinion and producing consent. In order to change the behavior of the target audience and to persuade the consumer by touching their mind and heart, a message is transferred using different tools and channels. In achieving these goals; It is necessary to have an interdisciplinary approach in a wide range from literature to history, from sociology to anthropology, from visual arts to music. It is thought that universities that train Communication Sciences experts also provide training with an interdisciplinary approach, will increase the impact of the studies planned to achieve the purpose of Public Relations activities. With this approach, in the research, starting from the fact that literature is an important tool in creating public opinion, Necip Fazıl Kısakürek’s poetry understanding was analyzed and described in terms of “creating public opinion through poetry”. In the study, discourse analysis of the poems was made by using the Description Method, one of the qualitative research methods. Under the umbrella of literature, it has been revealed that especially poetry has an unnamed Public Relations effect in forming public opinion.
