Özet: For centuries, in the district of Aksaray in the district of Gülağaç, the art of knitting a basket with a soft soap leaves called "wicker grass" is continuing. Baskets that can be decorated with the knitting technique and various motifs of the locality are quite long, and baskets over a hundred years are still solid today. The work of knitting baskets from straw baskets is renewed to the modern age equipment like many other hand products, but it is kept alive with the increasing tourism activities in basketry region. Sadles, which is only in Gülağaç in the world, is among the forgotten works today. Wicker baskets, which are generally used by locals for the storage of legumes, face the danger of being forgotten due to the increased use of plastic in recent years. Gülağaç wicker baskets are preferred because of its cultural value, especially because of its natural structure and knitting technique, it is possible to store the pulses contained in it for a long time without deterioration. In this study, it was aimed to collect and share information about the steps of Sele Basket, the materials used, compositions, motifs and present situation at Aksaray-Gülağaç district
