Özet: The aim of the current study is to analyze the digital storytelling processes of middle school students for mathematics history and to determine their thoughts on this process. The case study approach, which is one of the qualitative research methods, was used in this research. Participants of the study consists of 12 middle school students in a public middle school in Kastamonu Province. The working group was formed by the purposeful sampling method. Students' opinions on digital storytelling processes were taken with the opinion form and semi-structured interviews. Data were analyzed by means of content analysis and the findings were revealed descriptively. As a result of the study, the students stated that they enjoyed the digital storytelling process, it was very convenient and easy to use the digital storytelling program. Students also mentioned that they have learned learned much thanks to the digital storytelling activities they prepared while searching lives of the mathematicians. In the process of preparing digital storytelling with the group, it was observed that there were differences of opinion among the students, but they positively welcomed this situation. The study also revealed that the students followed similar stages in the digital storytelling process.
