Özet: There has been a deep need in digitizing the cultural heritage throughout the world to protect and reproduce the artifacts in case some distortion, corruption, theft, etc. happens. The general purpose of this paper is to provide and idea to make the museum available for those who cannot visit the museum physically, whereas the main purpose is to protect the original cultural heritage, i.e. the artifact, by reproducing the same artifact with respect to the original size as well as various dimensions. Digitization can be accomplished in many ways such as photography, panoramic display or by saving 3D coordinates of the art object. In this paper, the benefits of recording the three dimensional coordinates of the artifact will be discussed and a new virtual museum model is offered.
