Özet: This study was executed on purpose of analyzing elementary school teachers’ way of perception on student misbehaviours in terms of particular demographical qualities. Personal qualities and perception levels on misbehaviour for 365 elementary school teachers which are employed in Anatolian side of İstanbul in the academic year 2007-2008 were observed. Karakaş’s survey is applied as data collection tool. SPSS package software is used for the data analysis. Public school teachers, subject teachers, young teachers and the teachers whom classrooms are overpopulated have been confronting misbehaviours more than regular. Any significant correlation between the student misbehaviour and the teacher profile in terms of gender, marital status, number of children, age, major or grade was not found.
