Özet: Aim of this is to examine conflict resolution skills of elementary school students in terms of socio-demographic variables. Students from 4th and 5th in Girne degree were preferred as target population of the study. 38.8 % (n=57) girl and 61,2 (n=90) boy students were included in this study via random sampling method. “Scale of Conflict Resolution Skills”, developed by Sarı (2005), was applied as a data collection tool. For the analysis of data, arithmetic average, t-test and single sided variant analysis(ANOVA), Mann-Whitney U and Kruskal-Wallis were performed in parallel with the aims of the study. In this study, importance level was defined as 0,005. At the end of the study, except for one point, a considerable difference between genders in conflict resolution skills we defined however, there was not a considerable difference between two genders in view of sibling amount. And only one kind of considerable difference was defined when school grades were based on.
