Özet: During the first years of childhood, compared to the insensible parents, the parents who are more sensitive and responsive in their interaction with the kids have more positive effects on the kids’ cognitive, socioemotional and communicative development. These positive effects are critically important for the kids who demonstrate a normal progress, who are premature, whose development is at risk and for those who are affected by inefficacy. In this respect, early intervention plays an important role in enhancing the relationship among mothers and their kids. In this study, the importance of early intervention has been emphasized, the research area has been scanned and the current situation regarding early intervention has been examined.  In consequence of revealing the current situation of early intervention, the children who are at risk have been specified and suggestions related to necessary intervention at critical period have been made.
