Özet: The study has been structured to identify the relationship between different intelligences and concern about using graphs during the use of graphs in chemistry classes. A two-dimensional measurement tool with an accuracy of 0.90 and consists of 20 items which has been developed by researchers with a view to identify students’ “concerns about the use of graphs in chemistry classes (CAUGCC) and “Multiple-Intelligences Self-Assessment Inventory (MISAI)” developed by Oral (2001) was used in the study. The study showed that there is a meaningful difference between the social/interpersonal intelligence scores of Medical Vocational High School (MVHS) and Anatolia Vocational High School (AVHS) students and between Anatolia High Schools (AHS) and (AVHS) and Industrial Vocational High Schools (IVHS) in favor of AVHS students and between individual / intrapersonal intelligence scores of MVHS and AVHS; AL and AVHS students and between naturalistic intelligence scores of AL students and the scores of AVHS students in favor of the latter. A negative and meaningful correlation was observed between mathematical intelligence scores and CAUGCC scores in a correlation between MISAI and CAUGCC without making any distinction based on sex and type of school and this result demonstrated that concerns diminish in parallel to an increase in mathematical intelligence scores (or the opposite). A meaningful relationship which was not very high has been found out between the mathematical intelligence scores of male students and CAUGCC based on the results of an correlation analysis done in order to determine the size and direction of the relationship between intelligences and concerns about the use of graphs in chemistry classes based on a distribution between sexes. A meaningful relationship which was not very high has been found out between the mathematical intelligence scores of male students attending private high schools and scores related to concerns about the use of graphs in chemistry classes and between musical intelligence scores of students attending Anatolia vocational high schools and CAUGCC scores based on the results of an correlation analysis done in order to determine the size and direction of the relationship between intelligences and concerns about the use of graphs in chemistry classes based on types of high schools which the students were attending. A meaningful relationship has been found out between the mathematical intelligence scores of male students in the 11th grade and scores related to concerns about the use of graphs in chemistry classes and between musical intelligence scores of students attending the 9th grade and CAUGCC scores based on the results of an correlation analysis done in order to determine the size and direction of the relationship between intelligences and concerns about the use of graphs in chemistry classes based on different grades.
