Özet: Education is a sociological institution housing cultural, economical, political and social data. In addition, educational institutions which targets to catch up with rapidly growing personal needs of the 21st century has the technology as main building block. Therefore, the global developments in terms of education, require to run parallel with technological developments. In this study, theoretical analysis method is used to explain how the society is affected with the advances in education on technological ground. Since technology might have positive as well as negative effect on education, we have tried to present our findings with both positive and negative aspects in today’s education conditions.
