Özet: The aim of this study is to analyze pre-school prospective teachers’ the metaphors about the concept of “creativity”. To achieve this aim, the prospective teachers were asked to complete these sentences: “Creativity is like… because…”. Pamukkale University Education Faculty Pre-School Education Department 2nd Grade prospective teachers participated in this study. In this study metaphor documents of 130 prospective teachers were analyzed. In pre-analysis invalid documents were extracted and totally 102 documents were analyzed. The data gained from the research was analyzed with content analysis technique. The analyzed metaphors were categorized based on the features and the importance of creative thinking and the features of creative person and their frequency was noted. As a result of the study it was concluded that prospective teachers wrote metaphors mostly about the features of creative thinking.
