Özet: This study has two particular aims, the first aim of the study is to find out the degree of  teachers commitment to their organisations. Secondly, it was aimed to identify how demographic variables affect the level of teachers’ commitment to their organisations. The population of the study is the high schools which are affiliated with the Ministry of Education and Culture in Northern Cyprus. In order to get an idea about the subject, the sample was selected by convenience sampling. It was also formed as a working group by considering the availability of reaching the data. Kurtuluş High School from Güzelyurt, Lefke Gazi High School from Lefke and Haydarpaşa Trade School from Nicosia were chosen to form the sample of the study. The questionnaires were answered by 120 high school teachers within the scope of the study. Among these questionnaires the incorrect and the missing ones were sorted out and the rest 106 questionnaire (73 female and 33 male) were analysed in the scope of the study. The research is a quantitative research which was based on the opinions of high school teachers about the subject in order to determine the level of teachers’ commitment.The overall result of the study indicated that there is a positive meaningful relationship between the high school teachers’ perception about their commitment to the organisation. This result determines that the teachers are undecided about the commitment to their organisations. According to this result, it can be stated that teachers’ commitment to their organisation is an acceptable level.
