Özet: This research was carried out to determine the social skill levels of deaf students studying at a primary school exclusive for the deaf. Twenty-five hearing-impaired students studying at the primary school exclusive for the deaf in Istanbul were included in the study. "Social Skills Evaluation Scale" was used in the research. In the evaluation of the data, Mann Whitney U Test was used to investigate the effect of gender difference on the social skill levels. The responses of the teachers regarding the social skill levels of their students were examined and the frequency and percentage values of the students' scores were defined. With the defined frequency and values, the areas with the lowest score from the 12 subscales of the "Social Skills Evaluation Scale" were determined and the items with the minimum scores of the students were discussed together with the relevant literature. As a result of the research, no significant difference was found between the gender and social skill scores of the hearing-impaired students. The subscale with the lowest score of hearing-impaired students was defined as the "Acceptance of Results" subscale.
