Özet: Paramedic training in the world started in the United States of America. In 1993, for the first time in Turkey, paramedic training started at Dokuz Eylül University and in 1995 and the first graduates are given. The number of universities that all paramedic training in Turkey over the years has continued to increase. The first paramedic training in Northern Cyprus started in 2011 under the name of the First and Emergency Aid program within the Vocational School of Health Services of Near East University. In the following period, paramedic training has started to be given in First and Emergency Aid programs in many universities in Northern Cyprus. In the department, university common, auxiliary and field courses are given theoretically and practically. The aim of this article is to provide information about paramedic education in Northern Cyprus.
