Özet: Electric shock is an important situation which is life-threatening and requires emergency response. Electric shock results in unexpected death, skin burn, arrhythmia, organ injuries, and psychological problems. Pre hospital emergency care ambulance team receives numerous calls which include a great number of electric shock cases. Electric shock may occur from accidents at home as well as at job. Besides an effective response, electric shock requires an organised rescue work with other occupational groups and forensic evaluation according to the background of the case. In this study, a case involving an electric shock was presented in terms of pre hospital emergency care ambulance staffs’ emergency response and occupational health and safety.
