Özet: Infinity is one of the concepts that everyone knows but difficult to define, discuss and agree on. This is because it is beyond all human experience. The human mind is accustomed to dealing with finite things expressed with finite thoughts. Since defining this limitless concept may mean limiting it, there is a possibility that it may conflict with its content. The history of the concept of infinity, which is frequently used in the fields of mathematics, religion and philosophy, goes back to the Ancient Greek Period. Another area in which the concept of infinity has become the most different and most original apart from philosophy and science is art. Art is in an effort to break the established, usual patterns. In this respect, it is, in a sense, a medium that opens the door to the infinite. In Roman Opalka, one of the important representatives of conceptual art, he produced his works based on the theory of infinity and gave a new perspective to the concept of infinity. As a result; Within the scope of the research, first of all, the views of philosophers and scientists who have approached the concept of infinity and art have evolved and on the axis of these concepts, the traces of the concept of eternity in the works of Roman Opalka, which is included in Conceptual Art, were followed and the approach style of the artist was tried to be examined together with his philosophical approach.
