Özet: The working capital management is one of the important tasks of financial manager. Especially in the short and medium term financial planning process the working capital structure of the firm must be well analyzed taking into account the peculiarities of the industry in which the firm operates. In this study, using panel data analysis, the effect of the entity's cash cycle on the profitability of the entity. In the study, 52 enterprises operating in the manufacturing sector and traded on the ISE are considered using 2000-2010 data set. It is found that contrary to expectations, higher CCC is associated with higher profitability in the manufacturing sector. On the other hand, in two sub-sectors (chemical and non-metallic mineral products), negative correlation was found between profitability and CCC.
