Özet: The determination of priority sectors in an Organized Industrial Zone (OIZ) is to be established in a particular region is a significant problem. In this context, the main purpose of this study is to determine the priority ranks of sectors for OIZ which is planned establishing in Rize. In the scope of the application performing for this purpose, weights are calculated using the AHS method for the structure that includes seven alternatives and seven criteria. Then the priority ranks of alternatives were determined by using TOPSIS and VIKOR methods separately. After all, "encourages and supports" criterion was determined as the most important criterion at the decision stage. In addition, "food products and beverages" sector has been identified as priority sector for the Rize OIZ according to results of the both VIKOR and TOPSIS.
