Özet: The performance of the tourism sector in terms of the economic sense, that is to say, tourism receipts should be increased to benefit more from the positive economic impacts of tourism. In order to increase tourism receipts, the factors affecting tourism receipts are to be analyzed well. Surely, there are many factors that affect tourism receipts (economic, social, technological, demographic, environmental, etc.). However, effects of real exchange rate that is of an economic factor on tourism receipts are only discussed in this study. For this purpose, effects of real exchange rate variable on tourism receipts in Turkey have been analyzed with unit root tests, Frequency Domain causality test, TodaYamamotoandBootstrapBasedToda-Yamamoto causality tests by using monthly data between 2000 and 2012. As a result it was determined that the real exchange rate has an effect on Turkey's tourism receipts. Besides, tourism receipts affect the real exchange rate
