Özet: Some social development in Turkey, since the 1950s, a decrease has occurred in thewomen’s rate in employment depending on therural-urban migration and changes in agriculture. There has been a change in the sectoral position of women in the labor market. Particularly, Turkey's politicaland socio-economic growth is directly proportional to the prominence of women in the service and industry sectors. Hence, in Turkey for an economy that can compete at the globallevel, it is very important that women, with a significant portion of the population, take part in the workforce.Purpose of the study is to research women’s participation in the laborforce in the TRB2 region. The data used in the study were obtained from TUIK and interpreted by creating tables.
