Özet: International Federation of Social Workers (IFSW) was created a global response by bringing together the works of social workers at the local, national, and international levels against the COVID‐19 outbreaks. The aim of this study is to reveal the works of IFSW headquarters and social work organizations in regions against COVID -19 pandemics. For this aim, examinations were carried out with the keywords "SWresponds" and "IFSWresponds" on the official website of IFSW. As a result, the status of countries in regions (Asia Pacific, Europe, Africa, North America, Latin America, and the Caribbean) structured in the global observatories of IFSW was analyzed over 76 documents obtained. Firstly, the works were carried out by IFSW headquarters against the crisis caused by the pandemic between December 2019 and July 2020 are discussed. Then, how the IFSW global observatories were affected by the pandemic process and the work of the social work organizations in the member countries are presented. Publications and training that convey the roles and functions of social workers of the IFSW headquarters in the fight against the pandemic have been organized and made suggestions on social work interventions for vulnerable groups. Global observatories, on the other hand, conveyed the problems experienced in their regions due to pandemics, and the roles of the case manager, consultant, trainer, advocate, and resource manager in the studies were performed. As a result, IFSW's work under pandemic conditions is an important example of developing a global response to evidence based social work interventions.
