Özet: Turkish art, which is spread over a wide geography, should be examined in more detail in terms of landscape architecture. The fact that the researches on historical Turkish gardens were not detailed enough condemned Turkish art to the shadow of Islamic art and from time to time to western art. This study aimed to evaluate a period of this noble art, which is characterized by its unique lines and style and kneaded with the artistic features of the age in which it lived, in terms of landscape architecture. In this study; in the light of the works of art historians, especially Sedad Hakkı Eldem, it was tried to give information about the 18th century Tulip Era Istanbul gardens and design details.
