Özet: Spatial segregation is the disproportionate densification of a specific group in urban layout. This segregation can be based on ethnicity, race, religion, income level, education, and age etc. It can be at various scales in an urban area. The study reveals the individuals’ perspectives on the segregation based on ‘social-class’ and ‘identity’ and their influence on attitudes in the public areas. The study targets 30 individuals and applied semi-structured interviews via phone calls and face-to-face fashion. The questions were grouped under two categories: the first one includes the demographic information and the second one includes opinions and thoughts on the spatial segregation. The results point at the migration issue of the country that experienced in the past decade and the influence of the migration on the transformation of cities. The argument most brought is that the spatial segregation is mostly readable in the metropolitan cities.
