Özet: Aim: The aim of this study was to determine nursing students' childhood trauma according to some socio-demographic characteristics. Materials and Methods: This descriptive study was conducted with 118 nursing students studying at the Faculty of Nursing of a Foundation University. The data were collected using two forms: Personal Information Form and Childhood Trauma Questionnaire. The data were evaluated with Mann Whitney U, Kruskal Wallis, multiple regression analysis and Bonferroni Corrected Mann Whitney U. Results: The mean age of the nursing students is 20.571.40. Students’ Childhood Trauma Questionnaire mean score is 34.279.15. A statistically significant difference was found between the students' gender, perceived social support level and family type, and childhood trauma scale mean scores. As a result of the regression analysis, it was determined that 32.4% of childhood traumas explained by the perceived socioeconomic level and family type. Conclusion and Recommendations: Nursing students' childhood traumas can be said to be low level when the minimum and maximum values take into account are taken from the scale. It is thought that it will contribute to improvement programs for students studying at the nursing faculty on research conducted. It was thought that the findings of this study could develop strategies to support nursing students by conducting prevalence studies of nursing undergraduate students who have different socio-demographic characteristics in our country
