Özet: Gender is the concept that expresses the roles, duties and responsibilities that society gives to women and men, and the roles that society perceives and expects. Although the gender role brings some risks for both biological sexes, women are most affected by “discrimination”. Although the most prominent reflections of gender inequality in the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus are the health field against the female group, it has been determined that they benefit less from education, have a low participation rate in the workforce and take a less place in political life.Women are more disadvantaged than men in terms of gender inequality in many areas. In this review, the impact of the Northern Cyprus Turkish Republic women of varying social dynamics and socio-demographic variables over time "gender phenomenon" in the context of reflections, is intended to determine situation today compared with Turkey and world data.
