Özet: The Covid-19 epidemic, which dominates the world, has negatively affected the education-training activities as in every industries. Accordingly, different models of distance education were applied by interrupting face to face education at universities. In this study, the opinions of students who received tourism education at the associate degree during the Covid-19 outbreak about distance education applications were investigated. Phenomenological design was used in the study in which qualitative research method was preferred. Interview technique, one of the primary data techniques, was preferred as the data collection tool in the study, and a semi-structured version of this technique was applied. In the data evaluation phase descriptive analysis technique was used. In line with the results of the study, the opinions of the participants about the education system offered by their institutions with in the scope of distance education applications are generally positive. The participants agree that the training methods applied by the trainers in this process are sufficient. In the opinions of the participants about their individual performances, the opinions that they did not have much interest at the beginning of the application, were even negative, but that the negativity disappeared and the interest in distance education applications increased as the process continued.
