Özet: In addition to agricultural education lately started in Turkey, it has changed a few times in terms of program and form over time though. This phenomenon has caused negative effects on both educators and students. As a result of this, the propensity for agricultural education has decreased. No longer this negative situation is about to be overcome because commissions studied under Council of Higher Education have intensely made arrangements of uniform curriculum and education system. I think that it is wrong to be given Climatology or Meteorology lesson instead of Agricultural Meteorology by institutions of agricultural education. In this study, history of agricultural education, meteorology, sciences related to meteorology, relationships between meteorology and sciences, climatology, agricultural meteorology, relationships between climatology and agricultural meteorology, applications of institutions of agricultural education were mentioned and the necessity of agricultural meteorology lesson in institutions of agricultural education was emphasized.
