Salâ, which means “to pray, to revere” is derived from ﻮﻠﺻ. Salâ is also one of the Turkish Religious Music forms that composed so as to Hz. Prophet Muhammad (peace be uponhim) say to God to have mercy, take refuge in Him, respectfully commemorate Him andHis family members, ask for His intercession. The great love and reverence of Ummahof the Muhammad (sav) for the Prophet, Almighty Allah’s order in the Holly Qur’anand Hz. Muhammed’s (sav) hadith about the merits of bringing blessings becamethe reason of so many sala written text. The aim of our article is to reveal therepertoire of Turkish Religious Music in Sala by bringing together salâ texts and toprovide detailed information about the sala form
