Özet: It is known that Konya folk music holds a crucial place with characteristics features inTurkish folk music. The cultural structure of this important city that; This importantcity, which was the capital city of Seljuks in Anatolia, beheld a cultural structure with arich and mystic atmosphere exemplified by its architecture, madrasahs, hostelries,Islamic monasteries and of course Mevlana. Mevlana lived in this city, and advancedhis ideas and thoughts by disseminating them to the entireWorld. In today's world, hebecame the tolerance representative, a man who was brought up with philanthropy andpeople's respect as a sufiand person of ideas. This officious and important sufidefinitely influenced cultural factors within the environment he lived. It is thought thatmusic, which promotes an understanding of islamic mysticism and thought throughinstrumental means, affected other kinds of music and consequently, local music. Thisinfluence on Konya folk music was significant.This influence is seen in themodesfound in folk songs, mode scales, and the structure of tempo. The choice ofinstruments, the literal text of folk songs such as the rhythm, the subjects, the wordsetc., and the style of performing and presentation, all contain elements of the Konyaimpact. The musical effects of Mevlevi music on Konya folk music (makam, makamscale, measure of Turkish music, music instruments, performing etc.) still remain as adifferent survey subject which is excluded from the scope of the present survey.Takingstand from this pointin the survey mainly Konya folk songs' texts which are found inTRT THM musical note archive, recorded folk songs about Konya, published book,musical note, article and published thesis with announcement are examined in terms ofthe rhythm, the structure, the subject and word usage and their relationshipswithMevlana and Mevleviyeh are attempted to be determined
