Özet: Students' views on environmental issues are important in the realization of an effective environmental education. This research is a qualitative study in the phenomenology pattern of 7th grade students in order to determine their opinions about environmental problems. Phenomenology (phenomenology) studies are usually aimed at revealing and interpreting individual perceptions of a case. For this purpose, 34 students were interviewed with semi-structured interview form. Collected data were analyzed by using content analysis technique. According to the findings obtained, the environmental problems of the students are the cases related to the pollution they mentioned in the first place and they are expressed as garbage, air and water pollution. The factors affecting environmental problems are stated as human, urban and industrial sources. According to the students, the insensitivity and unconsciousness of the people are among the main factors affecting environmental problems. In order to increase the sensitivity to environmental problems, the campaign, project, competition etc. It is recommended to conduct activities to create awareness in style. It has been revealed that students have negative feelings about environmental problems and feel the most sadness.
