Özet: Affective commitment is seen as an important determinant of organizational commitment. Individuals with a high level of affective commitment tend to add value to the organization by taking additional tasks outside of the duties assigned to them, as well as working more for the organization. For this reason, organizations want to increase the affective commitment of their employees. There are various factors affecting the affective commitment of individuals. The aim of this study is to examine the relationship between organizational trust and affective commitment. In the research, data were collected by convenience sampling method. Within the scope of the research, it was aimed to reach employees working in the private sector and public sector in Turkey and data was obtained from 593 employees. According to the research findings, trust in colleagues, which is the sub-dimension of organizational trust, does not affect affective commitment. Trust in management, another sub-dimension of organizational trust, affects affective commitment positively and significantly.
