Özet: Social media platforms, which entered quickly as of 2003, have become indispensable in our lives. Regardless of gender, age and educational attainment, social media usage continues to increase. The fact that everyone can easily access the internet at workplaces with tablets and mobile phones also affect women's access to social media. Today, social media, which is cared by all sectors, is used by women when outside their jobs, too. Women who improve themselves in working life reflect their personal growth to their environment over social media. In this study, social media usage characteristics of women working in Finance, Information Technologies, Law, Education, Construction, Consultancy and various other sectors are emphasized. According to the findings obtained from the platforms (WhatsApp, Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn, YouTube, Forums, Blog, Tumblr, Pinterest) in the study, it has been discovered that women who had gained identity in business life use social networks effectively. Who make up the sample, the working women use social media outside their jobs, also consciously and actively also in their social lives.
