Özet: Raphignathoid (Acari; Prostigmata) mites, which were collected from Istanbul parks and ornamental plants, have been evaluated. Samples were taken during 2006-2008 years. Mite samples were extracted with Berlese funnel, cleared in lactophenol solutions and mounted in Hoyer’s medium. As a result, a total of seven species belonging to the families Stigmaeidae and Raphignathidae have been determined. Of these; Agistemus collyerae Gonzalez,1963, Mediolata chanti Gonzalez, 1965 and Eryngiopus tauricus Kuznetsov, 1978 are new record for the Turkish fauna.
